The Endurance gains 72 fighters plus a slight boost in its compliment size to to holding bigger fighters. Let's say by something like 10% add the New fighters and it equals out so they remain around 400. Goo g with the Sentinal for estimates as that is the most likely that gives the Venator 36 extra fighters and the Endurance 60-72.Ĭonsidering Ties ate bigger then most Old Republic fighters that going to decrease the compliment. And of its a mich larger transport, as unlikely as that may be, that could be a whole extra squad. If it's the more popular Sentinel or some form of light freight that closer to 5 or 6 extra fighters. If we assume it's the Lamba that's about 3 per shuttle as well.

But I feel the Endurance just has a slight edge from a tactical point of view.

So in that scenario it's actually pretty close. However getting a solid broadside is much more difficult to do then a forward attack. But the Venator is far superior when comparing broadsides and it's Heavy Turbolasers are arguably the strongest capital grade weapons on either ship. The Edurance is tougher and had better weaponry twords it's front plus Ion Cannons that could give it a win. And that depends heavily on the skill of the captain's. So ultimately this may come down to a ship vs ship battle.

The Venator has more guns but the Endurance lasers are more advanced and better placed. Might not equal them out exactly but it will help bridge the difference.īoth have strong anti fighter defenses in addition to their compliments. But the Endurance will carry much more craft then normal do to it being designed to carry mich larger X-wings, K-Wings and E-Wings. Ties are about the same size as most Republic fighters, arguably a bit larger actually so their number will stay around 400. Well if we convert them to only hold Ties then the numbers would more equal out.
